a new home

Some long for a new home all their life.  Others have the privilege of building a new home to their unique specifications.  Still others only think of home with reference to eternity.  The great hymn writer Ira Stanphill wrote "Mansion Over the Hilltop" which has been sung by individuals and congregations for decades. What Jesus said was clear:

John 14:2 My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.
The promises for the disciple's future are also promises for us.  Praise God!
