About 3 years ago I was serendipitously turning through my Bible and I found a verse. The power of it got my attention. I read it again. I looked for a pen and then underlined a portion of it. Then I put brackets around a phrase. The power of it was in the paradoxical truth within. Every time I picked up a different Bible, I turned to it and highlighted it. When I get a new Bible, I go to this place and underline it. Here it is. 1 John 2:1 My little children, I am writing you these things so that you may not sin. But if anyone does sin, we have an advocate with the Father--Jesus Christ the righteous one. 2 He himself is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours, but also for those of the whole world. Praise God! var refTagger = { settings: { bibleVersion: "ESV" } }; (function(d, t) { var g = d.createElement(t), s = d.getElementsByTagName(t)[0]; g.src = '//api.reftagger.com/v2/RefTagger.js'; s.parentNode.insertBefore(g, s); }(document, 'script'));
