The holy spirit

The Holy Spirit.  The third person of the Trinity is working in God's church.  He's also working in our lives.  Jesus promised that He would send the Holy Spirit, two thousand years ago, right before He was resurrected.  The Spirit is the guarantee of our faith and confession.  He is God in us and with us.  In Romans 8, after a treatise on the grace of God.  Paul begins to teach about the activity of the the Holy Spirit.  In one chapter, and only 14 verses, he mentions the Spirit 22 times.  Here are the references (Rom. 8:2, 4–6, 9–11, 13–16, 23, 26–27).
