asking, seeking, knocking

Jesus gave a simple formula for perpetual praying. It's in Mark 11:24 Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours 
This sounds simple enough.  Commentators are quick to point out that Jesus was using the ACTIVE voice which calls for continuous action. In English, we simply add ING to it.  This shows perpetual motion and continuous action.  In short, Jesus said to keep on asking, keep on seeking and to keep on knocking.  The assurance is clear and the promise is certain.  God hears and answers while we keep on asking.  Praise God!
