The author of Hebrews, under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, makes the case that Christ is the fulfillment of all the promises of the Old Testament, not for one time, but for all time! He keeps going to the idea of persistence in remembering what we've been taught and paying attention to the good news that came to us. After one of the most theologically complex passages in the Bible (Hebrews 6:1-8) When you read it you'll know why I said that, :-) The author reflects on the status of those who still believe: Heb. 6:9 Even though we speak like this, dear friends, we are convinced of better things in your case—the things that have to do with salvation. Glory! We are convinced of better things in your case! Why? Because those who trust in Christ have nothing to fear about the future. It is redemption not just for this life, but for all eternity!
