Many times when questions arise about faith, a person might give the definition in Hebrews 11:1. It's the one objective definition of it in Scripture, and most likely the most well known. The writer of Hebrews focused on faith in chapter 11. Here are the references to all the examples he provided from the Old Testament, showing how the faith of the people of God in the Old Testament, was a powerful example of the kind of faith we can have now that Christ has come.
