The book of Romans is a favorite for many believers. There is a good reason for that. For one, it provides clear and succinct statements about the good news. For example. Romans 10:9-10 is a simple statement about confession of Christ. Romans 3:23-24 in two verses show the magnitude of God's amazing grace contrasted with the utter sinfulness of mankind. It addresses hard questions like how to understand the practical aspects of the grace filled life in Romans 6-8. My favorite passage is in this book. Romans 5:1-2 details the grand result of being a Christian. We have peace with God. One thing I recently discovered was that the word used in the New Testament for hope is in the book of Romans more than any other book. 17 times the word "hope" is emphasized. Here are the verses: (Rom. 4:18; 5:2, 4–5; 8:20, 24–25; 12:12; 15:4, 12–13, 24) Maybe that's why we keep coming back to it again and again. Simple gospel presentations and an abundance of Hope! Praise God! var refTagger = { settings: { bibleVersion: "ESV" } }; (function(d, t) { var g = d.createElement(t), s = d.getElementsByTagName(t)[0]; g.src = '//api.reftagger.com/v2/RefTagger.js'; s.parentNode.insertBefore(g, s); }(document, 'script'));
