The writer of Hebrews goes into great detail about the difference between the Old Testament covenantal law and the New Testament covenant. The main conclusion he draws is it's BETTER! There are 2 Greek words that convey the phrase. One is in Hebrews 3 times (Heb. 7:27; 9:12; 10:10). The other is used several times from Hebrews 9:26-10:2. (Heb. 9:7, 26–28; 10:2). What is the point. The work that Christ did for those who would believe in Him he did ONCE FOR ALL! His work brought security, put away sin, and has perfected believers! There is no longer any need for believers to grieve over their sin OR their dead works (Hebrews 9:14). The "Once for All" was in our time, for ALL Eternity! Praise God! var refTagger = { settings: { bibleVersion: "ESV" } }; (function(d, t) { var g = d.createElement(t), s = d.getElementsByTagName(t)[0]; g.src = '//api.reftagger.com/v2/RefTagger.js'; s.parentNode.insertBefore(g, s); }(document, 'script'));
