stars in the bible

Stars are mentioned in the Bible 93 times!  One of my favorite verses about stars is the first one in Genesis 1:16 when describing the creation of the sun and the moon it says: "and the stars as well". Wow.  Considering all that we have learned about the vastness of our galaxy and the millions of galaxies outside our solar system.  It's amazing that the Bible says....'and the stars as well".  This is an indication about the vastness of God who exists outside of time and space. Teddy Roosevelt used to take his children out on the porch at night at the white house and tell them to look up.  Then he would say "I think He's big enough! Let's go to bed now". He is big enough!  Praise God!
