The Bible Jesus used is the Bible we refer to as the Old Testament. Codified 400 years before His birth, he learned it from a child and discussed it with the teachers of the law when He was 12. (Luke 2:46). Jesus quoted from Isaiah that his prophecy had been fulfilled while reading in Nazareth (Luke 4:21)
He criticized the reading of the Pharisees. (Matt 21:42) After the Resurrection, Jesus taught the disciples on the road to Emmaus that the Bible He used, was the one we should use as well. Luke 24:25 He said to them, “How foolish you are, and how slow to believe all that the prophets have spoken! 26 Wasn’t it necessary for the Messiah to suffer these things and enter into his glory?” 27 Then beginning with Moses and all the Prophets, he interpreted for them the things concerning himself in all the Scriptures.
