the blessed and only sovereign

There is a unique word that shows up only 3 times in the New Testament.  It means "ruler, sovereign or king".  It first shows up in the praise of Mary after she greets Elisabeth (Luke 1:52).  Then in Acts 8:27 when the Ethiopian is described as a "high official".  The last time is when Paul writes Timothy.   It's a blessing that Paul gives Timothy and it holds powerful truth:

1Tim. 6:13 In the presence of God, who gives life to all, and of Christ Jesus, who gave a good confession before Pontius Pilate, I charge you 14 to keep this command without fault or failure until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ. 15 God will bring this about in his own time. He is the blessed and only Sovereign, the King of kings, and the Lord of lords, 16 who alone is immortal and who lives in unapproachable light, whom no one has seen or can see, to him be honor and eternal power. Amen.
The only power there is, is our Lord!  Praise God!
