Jesus called the Holy Spirit the "Spirit of Truth". We have the high privilege of the Spriit's presence when we confess Christ (Romans 8:16) and the assurance that the Spriit will light up Scripture and infuse us with power (Acts 1:8, 2:4, 10:44-46). There is a valuable blessing from the Spirit that is automatic and instant for the believer. It's convincing. The Spirit convinces us of sin. The Spirit truly guides the believer into what is right.
Rom. 8:27 And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because he intercedes for the saints according to the will of God. When we are convinced of our sin, it paves the way to repentance, mercy and forgiveness. (Romans 3:23-24) Praise God! var refTagger = { settings: { bibleVersion: "ESV" } }; (function(d, t) { var g = d.createElement(t), s = d.getElementsByTagName(t)[0]; g.src = '//api.reftagger.com/v2/RefTagger.js'; s.parentNode.insertBefore(g, s); }(document, 'script'));
