the heritage of the lord

All the promises of God are for the believer.  The promise of forgiveness, no matter the sin (Romans 3:24) The promise of eternal life for all who believe (John 3:15-17) There is another abiding promise.  The promise of peace.  The words of Jesus convey it so well.  Translated from every day Greek to our language, the power of it brings settled hope and assurance

John 14:27        “Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Don’t let your heart be troubled or fearful. 
Peace is the heritage of the Lord!  He leaves it with us and for us.  Praise God!
