The wonder of what Christ has done by atoning for our sin, and the guarantee of our resurrection cannot be overstated. We learn it. We write songs about it. We even teach it to others. Over time, we can forget the magnitude of this good news. The Bible DECLARES the Boldness of God's grace.
Gal. 2:16 know that a person is not justified by the works of the law, but by faith in Jesus Christ. So we, too, have put our faith in Christ Jesus that we may be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law, because by the works of the law no one will be justified. Gal. 3:24 So the law was our guardian until Christ came that we might be justified by faith. Gal. 5:4 You who are trying to be justified by the law have been alienated from Christ; you have fallen away from grace. Rom. 3:28 For we maintain that a person is justified by faith apart from the works of the law. Rom. 4:2 If, in fact, Abraham was justified by works, he had something to boast about--but not before God. Christ has completely justified believers by His work of grace.
