Christ's coming to earth is the pivot point of human history. There are solid reasons that, across cultures, languages, and ages, the birth of Christ gets such attention each year. Churches will continue to declare this message. Individual believers will live and tell about it each day. Christ's coming was redemptive. His Coming was motivated by love. Our desire to give, sacrifice and serve is based on that love that first came! John said it. clearly. 1John 4:19 We love because he first loved us.
This is the message of the mission. Paul declares that God's love compels us. 2Cor. 5:14 For the love of Christ compels us, since we have reached this conclusion: that one died for all, and therefore all died. 15 And he died for all so that those who live should no longer live for themselves, but for the one who died for them and was raised. There's a reason to look up! Don't despair of all that you have to do in the days to come, His love compels us on the mission! Praise God! var refTagger = { settings: { bibleVersion: "ESV" } }; (function(d, t) { var g = d.createElement(t), s = d.getElementsByTagName(t)[0]; g.src = '//api.reftagger.com/v2/RefTagger.js'; s.parentNode.insertBefore(g, s); }(document, 'script'));
