The missing step

Western culture is fascinating in its use of categories and steps.  We often separate the doing of our faith from doctrinal statements.  Theology proper is separated from practical theology. Jesus criticized the Pharisees for having a knowledge in their head but not their heart.  The solution to this is found in the 4th step of Inductive Bible Study:  Response. In this step we connect with the text and hear what the Spirit of the Lord is saying through His word.  It naturally follows application.  

When respond we make literally the promise of Romans 10:9-10 and John 20:31.  We confess and believe!  Praise God!
