the opposite of fear

The opposite of fear is courage. Another opposite is trust. The Bible says a lot about trust. One of the best statements is found in the uniquely cogent book of Proverbs. These 2 statement truths aid in growth and wisdom at any age.  The great hymn of the church " Trust and Obey" might have got its inspiration from these 2 verses.

Prov. 3:5        Trust in the LORD with all your heart,
    and do not rely on your own understanding;
6     in all your ways know him,
    and he will make your paths straight.

The simple act of trust on our part, will yield His great straightening of paths.  Praise God!
