There is one phrase in the New Testament is only mentioned once. It's unique because it's part of John's purpose that he writes toward the end of the book. The whole gospel of John is unique because it isn't focused on Old Testament prophecies like Matthew (though it mentions fulfilled prophecies) It doesn't have many action words like Mark, and it doesn't include careful chronological detail like Luke. What it does talk about is BELIEF. Each story, carefully selected, tells about how the person "believed" on Jesus. Here is the verse and the phrase. It's both unique and powerful. John 20:31 But these are written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have
life in his name. Praise God! var refTagger = { settings: { bibleVersion: "ESV" } }; (function(d, t) { var g = d.createElement(t), s = d.getElementsByTagName(t)[0]; g.src = '//api.reftagger.com/v2/RefTagger.js'; s.parentNode.insertBefore(g, s); }(document, 'script'));
