Have you ever wondered why there are 4 gospels instead of just one? All of them declare Jesus to be the Son of God, record His sinless life, miracles, substitutionary death on the cross and glorious resurrection and ascension. Why couldn't just one do that? The events took place and even without them we could have heard the message and believed. I think the answer has to do with the significance of the event. John alludes to this in the later part of His book when he says: John 20:30 Jesus performed many other signs in the presence of his disciples that are not written in this book. They walked with Him and knew that He had actually risen from the dead. As you look closely at each book you discover the intricate differences that help believers today. Tomorrow we will look at the structure of the Gospels. Praise God! var refTagger = { settings: { bibleVersion: "ESV" } }; (function(d, t) { var g = d.createElement(t), s = d.getElementsByTagName(t)[0]; g.src = '//api.reftagger.com/v2/RefTagger.js'; s.parentNode.insertBefore(g, s); }(document, 'script'));
